Conceived in partnership with the Tokyo-based fashion label . the AURALEE x New Balance 550 ‘Ecru’ delivers a refined take on the vintage hoops. A subdued off-white finish is executed on the leather upper . save for a New Balance wordmark in contrasting black lettering on the heel tab. In lieu of traditional nylon . the tongue is constructed from leather and stripped of the oversized woven tag. Mismatched New Balance and AURALEE branding is stamped on each shoe’s sockliner. The low-top rests on a pre-yellowed rubber midsole with an EVA wedge for lightweight cushioning.
